The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Thursday, May 19, 2016, said that a woman had attempted seducing him and lure him into marrying her.
Pastor spoke on Thursday during the church’s 62nd annual convention at the Redemption Camp along Lagos Ibadan Expressway.
Daily Globe Watch reports that Adeboye told the congregation that the experience was shocking, saying the woman came and told him to be her husband, saying it was God that sent her to him.
Undermining his insistence that he is married with children, the woman persisted, even threatening to kill him if he turned down her request of being her husband.
He explained that he took the matter to the former inspector general of police who invited her and her husband to his office.
He said the meeting with the police resulted in banning the woman from coming to the church, participating in the Redemption Programmes, or making passes at the man of God.
In the event, Adeboye ministered on yoke breaking with the title, “The Yoke Breaker”.
He enumerated various kinds of yokes that truncate people’s future and prevent them from achieving their life’s goals.
