Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki read the list of 21 ministers sent to the Senate by President Muhammadu Buhari on the floor of the upper chambers of the National Assembly, Tuesday, October 6, 2015.
Immediately, Nigerians took to social media platforms to express their thoughts on the list, whose content was leaked to the media last week.

The general reaction on micro-blogging website, Twitter was disappointment.
“Some of the names on President Buhari’s #MinisterialList have effectively rendered his anti-corruption campaign completely useless!,” a youth leader and former ministerial aide, Ohimai Amaize remarked.

Some others wondered why Buhari delayed naming is ministers only to present the “usual suspects”. Others wondered by his list was dominated by former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) members. PDP is the leading opposition party in Nigeria.
