Despite claims by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) that the misunderstanding between Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh and goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has been resolved, things appear to be getting messier by the moment.
Enyeama’s new Instagram post suggests that Oliseh might have insulted his late mum who was recently buried in the heat of their misunderstanding. The Lille FC goalkeeper shared a photo of him wearing a broad smile while sporting the national team training kit before going on to talk about the ups and downs he has faced in his 13 years with the Super Eagles.
The 33-year-old then spoke about the thoughts of being stripped naked and thrown out by security agents; a clear reference to the report that Oliseh had called on security to take the former captain out of the Eagles camp. An emotional Enyeama stated clearly that he could take anything but not an insult to his late mother.
“After 13years of national service, having this smiles on my face and this passion in my heart.through the billows, the waves of the ocean, the tears of defeat, the sound of rejoicing from victory chants.now the thought of being stripped naked and security agents throwing me out breaks me completely????????.i will take anything but not insult to my late mother.?????????????,” Enyeama wrote,
