Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, LNSA, has sanctioned two officers involved in the unlawful treatment of Uber driver, Adedotun Clement, during the End SARS protest.
Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps, LNSC, personnel, and police officers brutalized Clement on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, despite identifying himself.

The operatives and supervising officers went through an orderly room trial after they were charged with disreputable conduct
Their action was contempt of the rules contained in the LNSA Handbook Articles E (ii) & (iii), O (iv), and N (x).
The two officers directly involved in the assault were de-kitted and suspended for 2 months.
They will be redeployed to another command of the agency for behavioral evaluation and further reprimand.
Their Commanding Superintendents and the Divisional Commander were suspended for one month; the deputies are to take charge until further notice.
Ifalade Oyekan, the LSNA general manager, apologized to Clement and restated the Lagos government’s commitment to secure lives and properties.
