Eminem has finally responded to a social media campaign to meet with a terminally ill fan, Gage Garmo.
Teenager Gage Garmo suffers from a rare form of bone cancer, called Osteosarcoma, and has been told he has just one week to live.
As a stunted fan of Hollywood hip hop ace, Eminem, Garmo’s dying wish was to meet the rapper. This prompted a campaign led by friends and families of Garmo on Twitter, #GetGageGarmoToMeetEminem which began last week, so as to bring the artist and the patient together.
According to TMZ, Eminem made the wish come true as he reportedly visited Garmo on Sunday, January 11, 2015.
Having been alerted to Gage’s condition by a member of his team, Eminem journeyed to Garmo’s home in Michigan. It is reported that “he did not want the visit to become a media spectacle” and spent an hour with the 17 year old at his home.
