Ekiti Governor Sponsors ‘Death-wish’ Advert On Buhari In National Dailies (PHOTO)

Barely three weeks to the election, an advert sponsored by Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state had today, Monday, January 19, 2015 emerged on the front pages of several national dailies including ‘Punch, The Guardian and so on.

The campaign advert titled ‘Nigerians Be Warned’ was aimed at campaigning for the re-election of  President Goodluck Jonathan against the All Progressive Congress presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari.

The advert believed to have a death undertone said, Nigeria…” I have set before thee life and death. Therefore, choose LIFE that both thee and thy seed may live.”

Pictures of three former Nigerian head of states, General Murtala Mohammed, General Sani Abacha and Musa Yar’adua all from the Northwestern region who all died in office was placed on the advert.

Additionally, the APC presidential candidate who is also from the Northwest had his picture on the fourth position of the page with a question mark on his face and “Age 72′  with a caption “Again?”
Moreover, reports recently made waves alleging the Buhari was diagnosed with Prostrate cancer from Ahmadu Bello Teaching Hospital, Zaria, Kaduna state with evidences.
Buhari had however denied the reports claiming he is actually fit to carry on with the tussle for the presidential seat in the general elections coming up in February.
