The Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, TSSNL, has raised the alarm that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has illegally detained its Executive Director of Operations and Technical, Captain Warredi Enisuouh.
TSSNL, a security surveillance company, operated by ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, said Enisuoh, who was coordinating an operation in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, to burst a top oil thief when the EFCC invited and asked him to disclose the sources of his intelligence when he showed up at the Commission’s office, January 19.
Capt Enisuoh refused and the EFCC reportedly detained him, insisting that he should disclose the sources of his intelligence, the company said.
Contacted on Saturday, January 21, 2023, the Spokesman of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, said he was unaware of the arrest of Enisuouh by the anti-graft agency.
Biafra Nations League Reportedly Rejects Tompolo’s Recruitment Offer
There are suggestions that a suspected militants group, Biafra Nations League, BnL, operating in the fringes of Bakassi creeks, may have rejected offers from Government Ekpemukpolo, better known as Tompolo, to be recruited to join forces with him to ‘secure’ Nigeria’s massive oil pipelines.
Media reports say Tompolo, a Niger Delta warlord, has been given a pipeline security contract by the federal government to secure the pipelines which have incessantly been vandalised thereby leading to wanton economic sabotage.
According to sources, Bakassi chapter leader of BnL, one Ita Bassey is said to have confirmed Tompolo’s approaches.
A member of Black Marine, believed to be an arm of BnL, is said to have brought the report.
Bassey is quoted to have explained why they rejected the offers, saying BnL will not be used by Tompolo to make money.
Tompolo Intercepts Vessel Laden With Stolen Crude Oil In Delta
Government Ekpemukpolo alias Tompolo has recorded another huge success in securing the Nation’s pipelines from oil thieves.
It can be recalled that the Nigerian Government recently awarded a pipeline defense contract to the former militant leader in order to reduce the mind-boggling theft of the nation’s crude oil.
Tompolo and his team successfully intercepted a huge vessel loaded with stolen crude oil last weekend and reportedly turned down a bribe of N25 million.
Eight persons on board the vessel, MT Deinmo, with IMO number 7210525, were immediately arrested. They were caught stealing directly from Escravos Pipeline in Warri South West LGA, Delta state.
Chief Ebipade Kari, the Operational Head of Tantita Security Services Limited, who led the operation disclosed that the interception was made after they received a tip-off.
“We got a tip off that a ship was loading at the Escravos axis. The Tantita security personnel went to the place and got the ship arrested”.
“While I insisted that the crew must be taken to Oporoza in Gbaramatu Kingdom, where Tantita operational office is located. Their boss was begging me through the captain of the ship to offer me a bribe of N25 million which he promised to deliver in dollars, so that I can let the ship go. But I turned down the offer.”
