36 New Ebola Cases Recorded In Sierra Leone And Guinea

Must read

The World Health Organisation (WHO) on Tuesday, May 19, 2015confirmed that the deadly Ebola virus has further spread in Sierra Leone and Guinea.

The WHO recently declared Liberia Ebola free but the same cannot be said for Sierra Leone and Guinea as the organisation reports that as many as 36 new cases were reported in the past week.

This figure is quadruple what is usually the rate of the spread.

WHO made this revelation through its special representative for Ebola in Geneva, Bruce Aylward, who said that the new cases and the rate the virus is spreading is a pointer to the fact that the virus would not go quietly but would require extraordinary effort to finish the job.
