According to Brigadier-General Johnson Olawumi, director general of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that corps would set up Ebola screening centers in orientation camps throughout the country to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
According to a report by vanguard newspapers, NYSC had already taken safety measures to ensure corp members and staff were kept safe and healthy during the orientation camp program.
Olawumi made the assertion while speaking in Akure, the Ondo state capital while inaugurating the NYSC/state governments collaboration on monthly environmental exercise.
He added that the NYSC was poised towards ensuring safety of corps members from the deadly virus in all states where they were deployed.
