The picture of the nurse who contracted Ebola while she was treating the infected person has been published in US media.
26 year-old Nina Pham is a health worker who treated Eric Duncan who contracted Ebola from Liberia and allegedly import the virus to the United States. She was reported to have worn a protective mask and suit while treating Mr Duncan who eventually died of the virus on Wednesday October 8, 2014.
Nina is currently being treated for Ebola as every substance and pet that belongs to her have been isolated.
Pham tested positive of Ebola in a preliminary test as was registered as the first case that emerged in the United States.
Colleagues are suggesting that she may have come into contact with the virus while taking off her protective gear after the patient’s treatment.
Dad-of-one Thomas, 42, died at the Dallas hospital last Wednesday, 11 days after being admitted.
