Nigeria’s minister of health Onyebuchi Chukwu has announced the confirmation of a case of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Lagos state.
According to Chukwu, the latest victim is the fiance of a primary contact of the virus.
Information gathered from The Scoop also has it that the sister of the Port Harcourt doctor who was the first victim of the virus in Rivers state, Dr. Iyke Samuel Enemuo has been discharged from the isolation center following her full recovery from the disease.
Her discharge was announced by Sampson Parker, the rivers state commissioner of health in Port Harcourt on Monday, September 8, 2014.
