A student of University of Jos, UNJOS, identified as Ezekiah Paul, has been sent to his early grave by a trigger-happy officer attached to the Department Of State Security Services, DSS at Ahmadu Bello Way in Jos, Plateau State capital.
According to reports, Paul was gunned down in the afternoon of Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
It was gathered that the killer-officer reportedly stormed a shop, Johnson Sky Phones, where Paul was doing his Industrial Attachment, to arrest one worker identified as, John Dan.
The deceased made an attempt to escape from the shop to evade possible arrest but was unlucky as the officer fired a shot at him during his bid.
Paul was rushed to Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) from where he was transferred to Plateau Hospital where finally died.
There had yet to be a confirmation of the incident by the police authorities in the state as at the time of filing the report.
