It was a twofold calamity for a 31-year old woman as she disclosed during a court hearing in Brooklyn how she sought help from a passerby after a rape attack only to get the shocker of her life when the man retorted :”I’m going to do the same thing to you.”
In a report by Mirror.co.uk, the prosecutors acclaimed that one Nicholas Isaac, 17 had just attacked the woman at 5am on August 31, 2014 as she walked down home in New York.
According to the report, on her way home, she came across one Daquan Jackson, 20, and narrated her ordeal to him and sought help from him afterwards. Unfortunately, it was learnt that instead of lending a helping hand, he resorted to raping her all over again.
The woman was allegedly walking home from a bar known as One Last Shag when suddenly an unknown man pushed her down, threatened to shoot her and then forcefully had sex with her. Not only did he rape her, he also absconded with her purse.
As reported by the New York Post, the stunned woman staggered 500ft when she was set upon once again.
Although it was alleged that the attackers threatened to shoot her if she failed to comply with their instructions, it is said that there was no provided gun evidence.
Charges have been brought up against the two criminals Isaac and Jackson which ranged from robbery, criminal sex act, unlawful imprisonment, criminal possession to assault.
However, Jackson’s attorney informed the Brooklyn Criminal Court that it was a case of mistaken identity claiming that the story about being raped twice in an hour was a mere figment of the imagination.
