Leave it to Dolce and Gabbana to convince us to spend an entire paycheck on a flight to Capri.
The luxury fashion house debuted its “Alta Moda” haute couture collection to a very lucky group of editors, buyers and big spenders in a secret cove off the Italian island. With nautical-themed lounge chairs complete with plush pillows, this was like no other fall runway show we’ve seen.
We’re not sure what we love more: The crushing ocean waves in the background or the elaborate dresses and accessories. But one thing’s for sure, Dolce and Gabbana’s Autumn/Winter 2014 couture show was the most beautiful showcase on Twitter this week.
