As claims continue to filter in from different corners of the country that Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi is spending funds belonging to the Rivers State for his party’s – All Progressives Congress (APC) – activities.
It is no news that Governor Amaechi is a major sponsor of General Muhammadu Buhari’s election campaign, with a new piece of document showing that the Governor on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 approved the sum of about N11 million to be disbursed for the purpose of an APC session at the UK House of Commons.
In a letter, dated September 2, 2014, the aforementioned date, Governor Amaechi allegedly directed that the said sum be released to the Accountant General of Rivers State so as to foot the transportation and logistics bill of the APC delegates.
