The man in the news, Dino Melaye, a Nigerian senator visited Lagos State, following his spat with fellow senator, Remi Tinubu, who is wife of Bola Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The fiery senator arrived Lagos on Saturday, July 16, 2016 and headed street for Bourdillon Road in Ikoyi, where the famous residence of Bola Tinubu is located.
Dino Melaye’s Lagos visit must have been in response to threats from Lagosians who support Bola Tinubu and have elevated him to the level of a local deity and took to social media to dare Melaye to “come to Lagos”.
On Wednesday, the senator from Kogi addressed a press conference where he declared that Tinubu is not God and cannot influence his political career.
Oh, well, Melaye has touched down in Lagos, and not just that, he went to the front of Tinubu’s residence and took a casual stroll along the road. He also took photos of himself on arrival Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2.
“Just landed lagos. Waiting for those who said I should not enter Eko,” Melaye said on Facebook.
Melaye wrote, “This is Dino walking freely on bourdillon in Lagos. I walk down the street right now. Eyin da?”. He also wrote, “In Lasgidi. Eru o bodo,” on a photo of him at the airport.
