Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba has denied reports that he has announced his retirement from club football. A report by L’Equipe on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 had claimed that the Ivorian had retired from football and was set to join the coaching crew at the club where he is adored, Chelsea.
Taking to Twitter, Drogba revealed he was happy to receive messages from some of his fans but made it clear that he hadn’t announced his retirement. According to him, he is still discussing his future with his MLS side, Montreal Impact.
“Lovely to receive these messages but I have not yet announced my retirement & am still in discussion with @impactmontreal about my future,” he tweeted.

For many Chelsea fans, it is only a matter of time before the 37-year-old returns to Stamford Bridge.
