American rapper, Sean Combs popularly known as Diddy is the highest earning hip-hop artiste for the Forbes 2015 Hip-Hop Cash Kings list.
Diddy raked in $60 million over the past year and the major bulk of his earnings are from Ciroc vodka. The rest of his earnings are from TV network Revolt, clothing line Sean John and alkaline water brand Aquahydrate.
Second on the list is rapper, Shawn Carter who is popularly known as Jay Z. He earned $56 million which majorly came through joint concert with wife Beyoncé, his entertainment company Roc Nation and Armand de Brignac champagne.
Canadian rapper, Drake was third on the list with $39.5 million. His platinum-selling album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late coupled with Sprite and Nike endorsements brought in a lot of cash for Drake.
Hip-hop heavyweights, Dr Dre and Pharell Williams completed the top five list with earnings of $33 million and $32 million respectively.
