Television talk show host Wendy Williams stripped down for a PETA fur campaign in November 2012.
The 48-year-old ‘Queen of Media’ renounced fur as she unveiled her billboard in New York’s Times Square joining a growing list of stars—including Eva Mendes, Khloe Kardashian, Taraji P. Henson, and Joanna Krupa who have also renounced fur and volunteered to appear in PETA’s iconic naked campaign.
“We should all try to be comfortable in our own skin and let the animals keep theirs,” said Williams, who once wore real mink and fox but said she had a change of heart after learning how animals are electrocuted, beaten — and even skinned alive for their fur.
In addition to her advertisement, Williams will encouraged her viewers to donate their fur coats to PETA so that they can be given to the homeless.
Other celebrities that have stripped for PETA are Miley Cyrus, Nikita’ star MAggie Q, and Alicia Silverstone.
