You may hate Pharrell Williams for never growing old but you cannot help loving his artistry.
The award winning singer and producer sat with media mogul Oprah Winfrey, to chat about his recent success.
His song, Happy, went to number one in countries all around the world. The song spread like wildfire days after it’s release on YouTube, with people from around the world uploading their own version of the video.
In just four months, the original song has over 182 million views.
During the interview, Winfrey played a video montage for Williams of fan-made videos inspired by the song.
Clearly overcome by the clips, he started crying: ‘Why am I crying on Oprah?’
‘It’s overwhelming because I love what I do and I just appreciate the fact that people have believed in me for so long that I could make it to this point.’
Assuring him that she ‘got it’, ever prepared Oprah thankfully had the tissues on hand.
