Award-winning Nigerian singer, Davido has once again shown his philanthropic nature. The singer who has in the past made donations to various causes showed how generous he could be when he helped send a young Nigerian, Olajide Daniel Sanyaolu back to school.
Olajide who is student of Electronics and Communications Engineering at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom had taken a year off school due to lack of funds. He then used the year for internship. Due to return to his education in September 2015, he needed to raise £24,700 tuition fee and he took to Gofundme.com with a campaign titled ‘Send Jide back to university’.
He managed to raise £4,284 which was donated by 143 people in 10 days. Nigerian music star, Davido has now come to his aid by offering him a cheque which is reportedly worth a million Naira.
Sanya took to Instagram to thank the self-acclaimed Omo Baba Olowo. He shared the photo above with the caption: “Halleluyah!!! See what God is doing for His boy though!
