David Mark, the immediate past Senate President, would on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 formally throw his hat into the ring and in contesting for the 2019 presidential elections.
According to sources, Senator Mark, a retired Nigerian soldier, will pick his presidential interest and nomination forms from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Headquarters on Tuesday.
Mark will be joining his successor, Bukola Saraki, fellow senator, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and a former vice president, Atiku Abubakar among others to battle for the PDP presidential ticket.
Mark held the position of president of the Nigerian Senate for 8 years.
