Nowhere have I seen a regular fulfillment of Scripture as I see on Social media. For instance, John 10:10 says “The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”.
You can post something as innocent and universally joyful as God bless Nigeria or America. Along would come somebody to challenge your assertion with a stream of negativity. Then another person would probably join the conversation to put the first person in his place and the first launches a stream of ad hominem attacks sometimes laced with foul language and if you are not rooted in Christ, very soon your joy will be stolen, your peace and quiet will be killed and your day (which you began by quoting Psalm 118:24 “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it”) will be destroyed.
Social Media is more like the spiritual realm than real life because space and time lose their meaning on the World Wide Web. So what do you do? You reach for Biblical wisdom and “be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger”-James 1:19.
