The Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has impounded 30,000 rounds of live cartridges concealed with yam and dry cassava flour, Leadership reports.
This was disclosed on Friday, January 16, 2015 by the area commander, Oteri Richard while giving the command’s report for the period between January and December 2014 in Ibadan.
Richard said the command also recovered and seized 125 bags and 60 wraps of Cannabis (Indian hemp) concealed in various bags of rice.
The command also seized a total of 28,343 cartons of imported frozen poultry products (Turkey) durng the given period.
