Popular televangelist, Creflo Dollar, responded to reports that he was planning to buy a $65 million private jet which erupted online last month.
On Sunday, April 19, 2015, during a sermon at his 8,500 seat capacity ‘World Dome’ Sanctuary, Dollar challenged his critics to stop his dream of acquiring a $65 million dollar private jet for his staff to use in spreading the gospel.
In his words; “Let me tell you something about believing God, I can dream as long as I want to. I can believe God as long as I want to. If I want to believe God for a $65 million Gulfstream G650 jet, you cannot stop me. You cannot stop me from dreaming.”
This is following on the heel of another report that allegedly said he asked his congregation to donate $300 dollars each from at least 200,000 people but that report has since been taken down. In the video, Dollar say he never asked his congregation ‘for a dime’ and that his ministry has 3,000,000 partners around the world who were ready to take the gospel around the world.
According to the preacher, he said that the devil started this campaign against him, speaking during the sermon, he said “The enemy has got to discredit the voices of faith and grace and truth because he don’t want you to know that you can walk on the water if you can look at Jesus. I’ve got to discredit that man before he starts showing people Jesus,”
He argued that he had never asked his congregation to deep their hands into their pockets for donations as he had a network of contributors around the world.
Creflo Dollar is a globally renowned tele-evangelist and founder and senior pastor of World Changers Church International. He has at various times been listed as one of the world’s riches preachers.
