Following the tragic crane crash which killed over 107 at Mecca’s largest mosque, President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Nigerian Embassy in Saudi Arabia to take necessary action to ensure the security and well-being of all Nigerian pilgrims in the holy land.
The president also sent words of consolation to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman, the people of Saudi Arabia and the worldwide Islamic community over the tragic loss of lives.
President Buhari also asked Nigerians to pray for their countrymen who are observing Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
He also prayed that Almighty Allah receives the souls of the deceased.
