A 24-year-old man has been convicted for common assault after he bit his 20-year-old partner on the butt during a rough sexual escapade that made her sustain some bruises.
Samuel Price and his lover, Elizabeth Sandlin, ended up for a steamy sexual intercourse after exchanging flirty texts on Saturday, February 14, 2015.
Magistrates’ court in Mold, North Wales heard that Sandlin, who was on a gap year from Abbey Gate College in Chester, cried profusely after her power drunk partner, Price bit her neck and pulled her hair during before persuading her to come back to bed, reports Metro UK.
She later yielded and joined Price back in bed only for him to bite her again on the bottom and thigh, this time more severely that she suffered large bruises.
She managed to call a atxi which took her home around 4.30am, before she was able to file a report of the encounter to the police.
In her victim statement, she said the since the incident she has had trouble sleeping and her trust in men had been damaged.
Price was arrested but denied assault, with claims that he was ‘not out of control’ and he was just ‘trying to turn her on’.
Damian Sabino, defending said, “Rough and playful sex was part of their relationship. On this occasion his perception was blurred. It appears he went too far and is certainly paying the price.
Magistrates were propelled to convict Price of common assault after they saw some photographs of her injuries.
Price was sentenced to 40 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £200 compensation and £850 in costs.
