A man and his wife were discovered dead while they were having sex inside a hot tub in a hotel after the man had a heart attack and squashed his wife during the ordeal.
67-year-old Charles Mckenzie and his 63-year-old wife, Dorothy from Canada travelled to Mexico for a holiday and their daughter’s wedding.
Dorothy died of “asphyxiation by submersion after her husband’s dead body squashed her in the tub and she couldn’t get up at Playaca Palace hotel.
The couple, from Baddeck, Novia Scotia, were both found dead around 10am on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 just two days before their daughter’s wedding.
Speaking to Canadian reporters, Mr Mckenzie’s brother-in-law Douglas Hastings said: “I know that they’re more concerned about the remains and cremation and things like that.
“I don’t really know about the wedding.”
According to Mirror UK, initially it was feared that they could have died following a hot tub malfunction, but that was quickly ruled out by hotel bosses.
