The Headies 2015 nominees list was released on Wednesday, September, 2015 and since then a whole lot drama has ensued.
The list which is generating a lot of reactions appears to have been hurriedly put together as few conspicuous errors can be found in the nominees’ list.
The street-hop category featured the following nominees and it was originally presented in this form:
1. Reminisce – Skillashi
2. Olamide – Bobo
3. Small Doctor – Mosquito Killer
4. Mastakraft feat. Olamide, CDQ and David O – Indomie
5. Falz The Bad Guy – Hello Bae feat. Yemi Alade and Poe
A careful look at the nominees above will make you realize that Masterkraft was misspelt as ‘Mastakraft’, an error which can be considered as minor just as ‘Davido’ was written as ‘David O’.
A fatal error was committed when ‘Ello Bae’, a song by Falz was mistook for another of his song ‘Marry Me’. The latter featured Yemi Alade and Poe and not the former. The award organizers later corrected the error after a Twitter user @austinaija brought the mistake to their notice.
Organizers of the 2015 Headies should NOTE that Falz didn't feature Yemi Alade and Poe on 'Ello Bae' but on 'Marry Me' @The_Headies

In the Best R&B Single category, the following songs were initially nominated:
1. Heartbeat – Praiz
2. Baby Daddy – Iyanya
3. Say You Love Me – Leriq ft. Wizkid
4. Do the Right Thing – Cobhams Ft. Bez
5. Wish Me Well – Timi Dakolo
The Group CEO of Triple MG, Ubi Franklin later made a case for his artiste, Iyanya and music producer, DJ Coublon. Ubi had opined that Iyanya’s ‘Mr Oreo’ song deserved a nomination.
It came as a shock that the award organizers apparently went back and altered the list on its website which now has ‘Mr Oreo’ in place of ‘Baby Daddy’; another song by Iyanya in the Best R&B Single category.
Interesting how @The_Headies have now replaced @Iyanya 's 'Baby Daddy' with 'Mr. Oreo' in the Best R&B Category
So many errors on the list

One wonders how many more errors will be found within the list before the award ceremonies.
