CNN’s Top 10 Heroes of 2015 have been announced by Anderson Cooper.
The CNN Heroes was created to celebrate “everyday people doing remarkable things to make the world a better place”.
Each of the heros would receive a reward of $10,000 and be honoured at the CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute holding on December 6. The globally broadcast event would air on CNN.
With this announcement, voting as commenced to chose who would be the CNN Hero of the Year and win an additional $100,000 for their charity or cause.
The CNN Top 10 Heroes of 2015 are

-Richard Joyner of Conetoe, North Carolina
-Maggie Doyne of Surkhet, Nepal
-Sean Gobin of Charlottesville, Virginia
-Bhagwati Agrawal of Vienna, Virginia
-Kim Carter of San Bernardino, California
-Rochelle Ripley of Glastonbury, Connecticut
-Jody Farley-Berens of Scottsdale, Arizona
-Daniel Ivankovich of Chicago, Illinois
