Spokesman of the Nigerian Defence Headquarters, Major general Chris Olukolade will on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, launch his two of his books; Issues in the mobilization of public support for military operations in Nigeria and The Voice and battles of the Nigerian military in celebration of the Nigerian military.
In a message, Major General Olukolade said, “It is with great delight that I request you be my guest as I celebrate the Nigerian military and my career therein with the public presentation of my books.”
Major general Christopher Olukolade was born on March 18, 1959 in Zaria, Kaduna State, to his parents who hail from Idoani in Ondo State.
He joined the Nigerian Military School, NMS, Zaria in 1974. After completing his basic military training and secondary education in NMS, Major general Chris Olukolade gained admission into Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. He graduated in 1983 with Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree.
He was commissioned a second lieutenant in 1983. He has risen through the ranks, heading several positions in the Nigerian Military to become spokesperson of the Nigerian Military.
