Over 80 citizens of Nigeria who are on the run as a result of the several attacks of the terrorist group known as Boko Haram have reportedly died following an outbreak of Cholera in Cameroon refugee camps where they fled to.
The refugees were said to have escaped from Haraza, Kunde, Tatsa in Borno state out of fear of victimization by the insurgents.
According to Punch, the refugees found succor in Gawar, Zamay of Maroua camps located in Cameroon although it was also learnt from sources that most of them were currently making their ways back to their Nigeria.
Information gotten from a source revealed that about 20 of them were receiving treatment in the hospitals located at the camps.
The source whose name was not disclosed said 40 of the dead were from Pulka, 30 from Ngoshe, Attagara, Agapaluwa and 10 from early migrants from the hills of Gwoza.
