“That is why we never give up. Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day.” – 2 Corinthians 4:16 ERV
Apostle Paul started the chapter by saying, “God, with his mercy, gave us this work to do, so we don’t give up.” Kindly say this to yourself, “I will never give up.”
That’s not to say that you will never feel like giving up; that’s not to say that there will be no unpleasant and challenging situations; that’s not to say that there will be no pressures; but you must decide never to give up. It’s a decision that you and I must make, that no matter what, we will not give up.
Why won’t we give up? Because God’s grace and mercy is available and sufficient for us, and because what we do is important. You must see what you do, your role; your work; your assignment; your mission, etc, as being very important. See how it affects other people; see its relevance and impact on lives, even if it’s just one person; see that there is always a possibility of improvement; and finally, see that you will be greatly rewarded if you do not give up. You will not give up in Jesus name. Amen.
