“Since his days are determined, the number of his months is with You; You have appointed his limits, so that he cannot pass.” Job 14:5 NKJV
Here’s what the New Living Translation says, “You have decided the length of our lives. You know how many months we will live, and we are not given a minute longer.” In other words, there’s a predetermined time everyone of us will spend on the earth. To die prematurely is to die before that specified time predetermined by God.
Now, don’t take it for granted that because there’s a predetermined time you have nothing to do about it. There’s a devil who seeks to kill, steal and destroy! And we are not ignorant of his wicked desires for us. Why do you think that people die horribly through sicknesses and accidents? That’s not the will of God: it’s the work of Satan! Don’t be naive! There are evil men who do not wish you well, and they will take your life if you let them by not exercising your authority and taking hold of the promises of God!
Today, you will say no to untimely death in the name of Jesus. Here’s the promise of God: Exodus 23:26 says, “No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.” Use this verse and as many as you can remember and say, “God, neither I or my loved ones shall die prematurely in the name of Jesus!” You shall not die prematurely in the name of Jesus! Amen!
