A Canadian man did the unthinkable on Thursday, May 7, 2015 after confessing on Facebook that he had killed his 19-year old daughter, his wife and sister in a bid to “end their suffering.”
Randy Janzen said he killed his daughter because she has had to endure terrible migraines for two years, adding that he could not bear to see her suffer anymore.
Janzen added that he had to kill his wife because “a mother should never have [to] hear the news her baby has died” and his sister because he “did not want her to have to live with this shame I have caused all alone.”
The police in Vancouver, after confirming the incident, went to Janzen’s house, where a stand off ensued, ending with Janzen killing himself after police fired gas canisters into the building.
