Mrs. Felicia Anyating, spouse of the Librarian while on interview with Vanguard stated that the gun men numbering seven invaded their home as early as 2am on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 and robbed the family of their belongings then dragged her husband into the car and drove away.

She disclosed that the miscreants took about an hour to cut the burglary proof on the window before breaking into the house located at Bebuabong Village along Ogoja Road to abduct the Librarian.

“Four of them entered the house while three of them or so waited outside and i am suspecting they are kidnappers and not hired killers because they would have killed him here if they wanted to kill him,” she said.

Mrs Anyating, who also teaches in FCE, disclosed that the miscreants took away her money, her phones among other valuable in the house before taking her husband.

“I gave them money and i don’t know if that was not enough; I am appealing to them to release my husband,” she said.

She went further to reveal that the matter had been reported to the police and the State Security Service but that the kidnappers are yet to get in contact with her of the school since the abduction of the Librarian.
