21-year-old Ghanaian defender, Baba Rahman is set to join English premier league champions, Chelsea. The Ausburg defender’s representative, Sascha Empacher has confirmed that his client and the Blues have agreed personal terms.
Chelsea is expected to part with about £14.1 million initially for the left-back and possibly, add-ons totaling about £3.5m. The deal can be wrapped up as early as Tuesday, August 11, 2015.
The Blues have been on the look out for a replacement for Filipe Luis at left-back position. The Brazilian had returned to Atletico Madrid after a less than impressive season with the Blues.
