An eye-witness who said he was hiding in the court premises in fear of his life provided the following account to The Trent via a series of phone messages.
“APC thugs have overtaken the whole premises of Isabo Magistrate court premises, attacking all visible PDP loyalists. We are not safe at all! I don’t even know how I will escape here! Bloods everywhere! They must not see me!
“Police are not enough here! The police have compromised! This is serious! I can’t believe my eyes here! My chance of escape here is 50-50!
“Looking for a fence to jump… All the fence are being mounted by Governor’s thugs already, while the entrance is overcrowded!!! I am thinking of facing them!”
Our reporter requested he takes a photo and sends to us. Our eye-witness, who doesn’t wish to be named in this report, replied:
“I can’t not. If they see me, they will surely kill me. We are three here! Police and SSS are not enough here! There are many people that the security are protecting to escape. They cannot even accommodate some of us again!
“Warder personnel/security operatives have taken Sf Ojo away… Probably taken to Remand!
“There is trouble..”

Ojo was arrested from his house Ibara, Abeokuta, in the presence of his pregnant wife, on Sunday after being placed on surveillance by security operatives on the behest of Governor Amosun.
Ojo had allegedly shared a story on his Facebook page which reported that Mrs. Amsoun, the Ogun Governor’s wife was detained by London police for being in possession of US300,000 on suspicion of money laundering. The Ogun State Government has denied the report, saying such an arrest never happened.
Online protests greeted news of Ojo’s arrest with social media commentators calling for his immediate release. He was charged with criminally libeling the wife of the state governor, conspiracy against the state government and assault on policemen.
