Former Enyimba International defender, Romanus Orjinta who captain the Peoples Elephant to the country’s first ever CAF Champions League is dead.
Orjinta was found dead at his residence in Enugu State on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 after he was not seen in public for several days.
The 33-year old was capped for Nigeria 13 times and played for several Nigerian club sides including Heartland, Niger Tornadoes and had a short playing career in Norway.
Sports analyst, Collins Udoh, took to Instagram to mourn the loss of the defender fondly referred to as Agaga, “Romanus Orjinta, CAF Champions League winner with Enyimba, passes on. RIP Agaga #NoWords. We shared a lot of memories.”
