COMO, Italy – Former Barcelona, Arsenal, and Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas has announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 36.

The Spanish midfielder, who last played for Como in Serie B, leaves the game after a stellar career that spanned 20 years and saw him win an array of prestigious titles.
