As Nigerians across the country continue to have their say as to the failure of the use of card readers in several polling units across the country, pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere has come out to say the said failure of the card-readers has proven them right, as they had earlier warned.
Speaking to newsmen on Saturday, March 28, 2015 after his accreditation at Unit 020, Grammar School, in Ojodu LCDA. Afenifere’s National Publicity Secretary, Yinka Odumakin said the election, which he described as a “sham” had proven the group right.
He said: “If Jega says he wants to continue the election tomorrow, is it not running the country into crisis. The ball is now in the court of the credible media organisations to let the people know what is happening.
“Where I voted, somebody gave the INEC officials stamp pad and ink. Jega wants to run this country into crisis. Now, it is time he tells us what happened to him after the 2011 election, when he went to Saudi Arabia and they sent him back. He should tell the country now what happened then.”
