Jose Mourinho has declared that his Stamford Bridge giant is set to defeat any team from any league this season as he believes Chelsea FC is now strong and can cope with any team that is set against them both in England and Europe by extension.
His utterance on Friday, October 7, 2104 was following the series of threat of defeat posed by his premiership rivals who believes Chelsea’s place at the top of the league will be short-lived by the time the club shall face the stronger team in subsequent games.
The Blues have remained the only unbeaten side in the Premier League with a five-point lead at the top following an impressive 2-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday October 5, 2014.
The manager said: “I am happy with everything. In this moment our team are able to adapt to everything. What the game gives us, we can cope with. We are not the kind of team that play only the same way, think the same things. We can play in a different way and adapt to different situations.
“When teams have the ball we are comfortable, when we have the chance to pass and touch the ball, we are comfortable. When we play in counter-attack, we are comfortable. In this moment the team are mature and confident and I’m very happy.” He stated
Speaking with Metro Sport UK, he further laid claims of having a very strong bench as a dependable alternative that can produce equal result,
“Only we can lose a keeper and not panic. We lost a keeper and the panic was just what the kid, Courtois has suffered.
“But as for the football panic and talk of ‘oh my god what is going to happen? The other one just come comes and no one in the seats feels any fear because we know the big guy is there for us too. The team is so solid, so confident, so under control so we are fine.”pPpPPpLP
