In continuation of their nationwide re-election campaign rallies for President Goodluck Jonathan, the Peoples Democratic Party on Friday, January 30, 2015 stormed the beautiful city of Calabar, the Cross River State capital to drum up support for the President.
As part of activities lined up, President Jonathan met with traditional rulers from the state and commissioned the 6 kilometer Goodluck Jonathan Bye-Pass.
The President who was welcomed by the Cross River State Governor Liyel Imoke, headed to the UJ Esuene Stadium, venue of the hugely successful rally.
Among those in his campaign train were: PDP National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, Vice President Namadi Sambo, Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, Director General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation and former PDP Chairman, Ahmadu Ali, amongst others.
