The federal government has allegedly sacked not less than 106 university staff across the country, Daily Post reports.
Also, over 76 staff of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife in Osun State are currently on the waiting list for sack by the federal government.
This was revealed by president of Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities (SSANU), Comrade Samson Ugwoke, revealed during the SSANU’s executive meeting held at the Michael Imoudu Institute for Labour Studies in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Represented by the deputy president, Comrade Moses Adeniyi-Aogo, Ugwuoke said that the staff of OAU staff school might also be laid off in the coming weeks by the federal government.
