President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, soon to be sworn in as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was taken on a tour around the Presidential Villa by President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
He was escorted by his aides, some members of the All Progressives Congress alongside the outgoing President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who also issued hand over notes to the President-elect.
They presentation of the hand over notes was done inside the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja shortly after the tour.
Architect Namadi Sambo, the Vice President similarly conducted the Vice-president-elect, Yemi Osibanjo, round his own wing of the villa.
President Jonathan disclosed that his country has gotten the very best his administration has to offer.
General Buhari assured he would make no bold statements until after studying the handover notes.
He used the podium to commend President Jonathan for conceding defeat in the Saturday, March 28, 2015 Presidential election.
The President-elect stated that if President Jonathan wanted to make things difficult he would have done so comfortably.
