As defeat looms for the All Progressives Congress, APC, its supporters have taken to social media in violent protest.
The country witnessed its presidential elections on Saturday, March 28, 2015 with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and APC being the top contenders.
Though the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, is yet to officially announce the results, results manually collated from polling units nationwide show the PDP candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan winning by a landslide.
Foreseeing their defeat, APC supporters on Twitter have begun a violent protest against the electoral umpire.
A twitter user named Aisha Yesufu who tweets with @AishaYesufu tweeted: “Dear INEC Commissioners Any money u collect to distort d results can only be used for 2 things Paying hospital bills & burial arrangements”

Other APC supporters concurred to the threat.
@AishaYesufu pls remind them that they will not be the one doing the spending as they will actually be the one sick or dead already.
