Buhari Can’t Win Because Of The Cabals Surrounding Him – Governor Lamido

Jigawa State Governor of Sule Lamido has pointed fingers at a dangerous cabal surrounding Muhammadu Buhari – the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) – as the reason why he would not win next months presidential election.

Lamido made the statement while addressing a crown of peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters in Magatari, stressing that the ‘’cabals are capitalizing on Buhari’s so called popularity to seek elective positions’’ although ‘’Buhari cannot get the mandate of Nigerians.’’

“Frankly, even my party, the PDP  has agreed that General Buhari is an incorruptible person but those sounding him are selfish, they are misleading him on the present realities in the country,’’ Lamido said, adding that most of the people who make up the cabal left the PDP so as to get closer to Buhari and in essence, government positions.

The governor added: “These cabals seeking elective positions are betrayers. They betrayed PDP; the party which made them what they are today. They will also betray Buhari as soon as they get what they want, just as they are calling PDP all sorts of names and regard Buhari like god now. They will turn their back on him soon.”

Governor Lamido also stated emphatically that the PDP will reclaim all states it lost to the APC as a result of the decamping of renegade governors.
