When Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and father of the Jenner sisters, Bruce Jenner, made his debut on Vanity Fair as Caitlyn Jenner on Monday, June 1, 2015, she also created a new Twitter account. What she did not know was that the account would be breaking Twitter world records.
I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me.

The star broke the internet with her debut pictures as a woman and then proceeded to break the previous twitter records set by President Obama, when he joined twitter and hit 1 million followers in less than 5 hours on May 18, 2015. Jenner hit the 1 million followers mark in under 4 hours after she became active.
Jenner tweeted after reaching the mark;
Another Jenner world record, and at 65? Who'da thought! Humbled & honored to have reached 1M followers in 4 hrs. Thank you for your support.

President Obama also joined people around the globe in supporting the 65 year old transgender. President retweeted one of Jenner’s original tweets and added, “It takes courage to share your story.”

Another twitter account was created, shortly after the introduction of Caitlyn Jenner to the world, with the handle @she_not_he, to politely remind tweeters to use the correct pronouns when mentioning Jenner.
Caitlyn Jenner is set to make her first public appearance as a woman on July 15, 2015 when she will accept the Arthur Ashe award for Courage at ESPY.
