12 Years A Slave actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by the Duke of Cambridge during the 2015 Queen’s Birthday Honours held at Buckingham Palace in London on the morning of Tuesday, Otober 27, 2015.
The 38-year-old British actor was born beaming with smile while speaking with Prince William as he received his award. Chiwetel was honoured for his services to drama.
During the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2008, the actor who is of Nigerian descent was made an OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire).
