President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday, May 3, 2014 met with Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, the State commissioner of education, and other top government officials, over the abducted girls from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno.
Over 200 girls were abducted from the school on April 14, 2014 by Boko Haram terrorist group.
The meeting began at 9 p.m. when President Jonathan arrived. Borno governor arrived in company of the Borno State commissioner of education, the principal of the Government Secondary School, Chibok and some parents of the abducted girls.
Also present at the meeting were Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo, Senate President David Mark, Secretary to the Government of Education Anyim Pius Anyim, Supervising Minister of Education Nyeson Wike and Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Abubakar.
